a Comedy Variety Show

that celebrates movies and physical media

At Lyric Hyperion

A comedy show set in the not-so-distant future where the Streaming Wars have wreaked havoc on the movie-loving public. Their only refuge: a lone brick-and-mortar store in a world gone to hell. Outpost 31, AKA: The Last Video Store.

Join the employees of the Last Video Store every month as we celebrate all things physical media. What Special guests will arrive to rent and return videotapes? How many Late Fees will the Overnight Returns Box Monster(?) demand? What prizes will we doll out to those weary travelers looking for a break from downloading 40 channels to their Roku? Be kind, rewind AND get ready for a movie-lovers party at Lyric Hyperion. Fight the Future (we’re aware that’s the tagline for the X-Files movie.)
